Iran, Israel politics topic of Badger Club forum

Learn more about the politics of Iran and Israel at the Columbia Basin Badger Club on Jan. 31 in Kennewick.

The club's monthly forum will feature Patrick O'Neil, chairman of the Politics and Government Department at the University of Puget Sound.

O'Neil has a doctorate in political science from Indiana University and teaches courses in comparative politics and international relations.

He studied and visited Iran for years, and made a visit to Israel in 2012. He will share the results of his trips and studies with the club.

The forum is at 6 p.m. at The Country Gentleman, 9221 W. Clearwater Ave., Kennewick.
