Every senator and congressman in Washington, D.C., should be fired. The fact that there has been no federal budget passed for more than three years is a disgrace. We are small-business owners, and if we ran our business like Washington is running the country, we would be bankrupt!
The latest bill to avoid the fiscal cliff was laughable. The interest alone on the national debt is about $220 billion this year, and that is at an extremely low interest rate. What happens when interest rates begin to rise? Where is the courage?
We need to make a 5 percent across-the-board cut in spending immediately -- regardless of the program. Our great country is heading for disaster at a breakneck pace. This recklessness has got to stop!
I will not vote for any incumbent in the next election and will work to educate fellow citizens. Having nobody in Washington, D.C., would be better than a bunch of weak, "yes men" who can't stand up for what is necessary to make this country great again. We should all be ashamed and outraged. Yes I am angry. We all deserve better than this. We need to get involved, educate ourselves and demand resolution.
