We have the fiscally irresponsible party negotiating with the party that has no responsibility for anything (it is Bush's fault) arguing about going over the cliff with the gas pedal floored or if we should just coast over it edge.

Both sides have a spending problem. Just the entitlements and the U.S. debt costs us more than we take in. No amount of taxation will solve Washington, D.C.'s, spending addiction.
