I have been a bartender and waitress at Denny's for 14 years. With our family going through all the challenges this year, I didn't know if some days I would make it. Then some days, I didn't. Some days, I was on my game, then others, not.

I do know that every day, someone had a prayer for me and my family, or someone had patience when I'd screw things up, or break down. Someone had understanding when I was overcome. Someone had a shoulder when I needed to cry. Someone had a laugh to share, hug to give or a smile. That someone was my friends, customers, co-workers and managers. Without you, it would have been an even tougher year. Thank you so very much for everything.
