Doc Hastings, graduate of Pasco High School will be entering his 10th term representing Eastern Washington. On a lark, I have subscribed to his weekly newsletter and every week I become more disappointed.

By now, he should be a very powerful voice in these times of critical budget issues. Yet we hear nothing from him in the news or in his newsletters except for the insignificant meetings that he attends. Because, there has been no significant opposition, "Doc" will probably continue to quietly vote the party line without compromise nothing and will represent Eastern Washington for many more years.

What a shining example of the case for term limits!
