The Grant County Assessor mailed thousands of change of value property notices this week.

Almost 30,000 real property change of value notices and 4,009 personal property change of value notices were mailed.

All property in Grant County is revalued every year. If you have any questions on the value, call the assessor's office at 509-754-2011, ext. 325.

If you disagree with the value, you may appeal it to the Board of Equalization.

Petition forms are available from the clerk of the Board of Equalization, Jill Hammond, at 509-754-2011, ext. 331. They must be filed within 30 days from the date of the notice, or by July 1 of the assessment year.
