Girls basketball: Richland falls to University High

December 28, 2012

The Richland girls basketball team struggled shooting the ball Friday and it cost them in a 44-40 loss to visiting University High.

The Bombers made just 10-of-46 shots in the loss, missing several attempts in the final minutes of a tight game.

“We just need to put the ball in the hoop,” Richland coach Cindy McCoy said. “We didn’t play that badly defensively, we just have to score. You can’t win games scoring 40 points.”
