Pasco Senior Center to offer technology classes in January

The Pasco Senior Center is offering a free Senior Technology Series for seniors 50 and older.

The following classes will be 1 to 2 p.m. at 1315 N. Seventh Ave., Pasco.

* "Cell Phones 101" on Jan. 8 will help seniors learn how to call, text, use apps and take photos with their phones.

* "Email Basics" will teach seniors how to send email and share photos, Jan. 15.

* "Facebook Made Simple" will help seniors use the social networking site, Jan. 22.

* "Usable Technology" will focus on making life easier with technology. Topics include video chatting, internet monitoring, Wi-Fi controlled heating and lighting, and large-view computer monitors, Jan. 29.
