Snow expected to turn to rain in some areas

Less than half of inch of snow was expected to accumulate by this morning.

Some snow showers are expected to continue today then turn to rain in some areas by this afternoon, according to the National Weather Service in Pendleton.

Another half an inch could land in some spots in the Mid-Columbia.

Daytime high temperatures are expected near 36 today, with lows tonight about 27.

The chance of precipitation shoud drop to 20 percent by Thursday, with cloudy skies and highs near 33.
