I'm definitely in favor of growth and development, especially if it means more jobs and more income for those who already have jobs.

But I would ask the city of Kennewick to look at developing in places other than Zintel Canyon, which has been a play place and refuge for children and youths in our area for many years.

There are spots along Clearwater and other parts of town that remain undeveloped and, if new homes or businesses were put there, would be a greater boost to other businesses already around these areas.
