The Greater Pasco Chamber of Commerce's January luncheon will focus on the national agricultural industry and include an update from Congressman Doc Hastings.

The meeting will be from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 8 at the Holiday Inn near TRAC, 6600 Burden Blvd., Pasco.

Steve Cooper of the Franklin County Farm Bureau will discuss maintaining a strong, vibrant agricultural industry nationally and internationally.

Hastings, R-Pasco, will provide a legislative update on national legislation that could affect the Tri-Cities.

The lunch meeting is part of the REAL AG 2013 Convention and Trade Show.
