Emmitt Jackson, program specialist at the HAMMER training facility in Richland, sprays a coating of furniture polish on tile flooring of a Slip Simulator machine to teach Hanford workers techniques to avoid falling while walking on slick surfaces. Tobin Mott, a DOE industrial hygienist, prepares to walk across the slippery surface, while distracted with a calculator and wearing special slippery cleats strapped to his shoes to make it more treacherous.
