Jim Watts will sign copies of his book, Magic Bag, from 3 to 6 p.m. Dec. 22 at Hastings, 1425 George Washington Way, Richland.

Magic Bag is the name of a trilogy of Watts books that include The Quest Begins, The Dwarves of Saren and The Ice King. The books follow the adventures of Monty, a young elf going through puberty. The books are geared for middle school-age kids and older.

The book is illustrated by Prosser illustrator Herb Leonhard, who also will be at the booksigning.
