West Richland — Wiley Elementary School in West Richland is collecting non-perishable food items to help those in need.
Food can be dropped off until 3:15 p.m. today at the school, 2820 S. Highlands Blvd., West Richland.
For every 200 pounds collected, students will get to place cream pies in teachers faces at a celebration assembly Dec. 21.
