MONROE -- Howard T. Wirta, 94, of Snohomish, died Dec. 14 in Monroe.

He was born in Trout Lake and lived in Kennewick for 60 years before moving to Snohomish two months ago.

He was the retired chief engineer at Kadlec Hospital.

Columbia Memorial Funeral Chapel, Pasco, is in charge of arrangements.
