Published: December 18, 2012

— Richland police’s Bomb Squad responded to a call about an unmarked package left today near the door of the Keewaydin branch library in Kennewick.

A Mid-Columbia Libraries spokeswoman said the package was wrapped like a gift and contained a half-empty bottle of Vitamin water.

The branch at 405 S. Dayton St. was not evacuated.

Library officials noticed the package about 2:30 to 3 p.m.
