A call came in to the Franklin County Sheriff at 2 a.m. Sunday reporting the possible rape of a child in the 4400 Block of Roberta Road.

Officers responded and arrested Matthew Arnett, 33, on suspicion of rape of a child and for furnishing alcohol to a minor. He is a level 2 sex offender registered to a Roberta Road address.

A 15-year-old female was taken to a hospital to be evaluated.

The investigation is ongoing.
