The Kennewick Parks and Recreation Commission meeting today has been canceled. The next meeting will be at 6 p.m. Jan. 10 in the Pavilion at the Southridge Sports and Events Complex.

Prosser's Hall elected Benton PUD president

The Benton Public Utility District has elected Jeff Hall of Prosser as its president. He has served as a commissioner since 2002.

Lori Kays-Sanders will serve as vice president, and Barry Bush, who was elected to the three-member board in November, will be secretary. The Benton PUD serves 48,000 customers in Kennewick, Finley, Benton City and Prosser.
