Panisesi Taimani scored a game-high 22 points to lead the Kennewick Lions to a 70-34 nonleague victory against visiting Eisenhower on Tuesday.
Taimani scored 15 points in the first quarter, as the Lions (2-2 overall) jumped out to a 27-11 lead.
We found our posts open a lot, and she converted around the rim, Kennewick coach Oliver Browning said. Our defense was very good. We played with a lot of intensity and caused a lot of turnovers.
Janey Valerio added six points and seven assists, while Taylor Osmundson finished with 13 points and five steals.

Post Falls 67, Hanford 36: Hallie Gennett scored a game-high 21 points to lift Post Falls to a nonleague win over Hanford in Richland.
The Falcons didnt find many scoring opportunities in the face of a strong defensive performance by the Trojans.
Their defense was quite good, Hanford coach Evan Woodward said. We struggled clearly to move the ball up the floor and take advantage of any mismatches.
Colette Gall led the Falcons with 14 points.
Post Falls led 18-10 after one quarter, pushed the lead to 37-21 at the half and then held Hanford to just four points in the third quarter.
