The Hanford Reach Interpretive Center is planning a holiday ornament decorating event Saturday.

Kids will be able to decorate ornaments shaped like animals of the Hanford Reach National Monument.

Cookies and hot cocoa will be served. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Richland Community Center, 500 Amon Park Drive.

The suggested donation is $5 per ornament kit or $15 for four.
