The Tri-Cities Chapter of the Compassionate Friends is holding a memorial candle lighting service.

The service will begin at 6:45 p.m. today at the Sandberg Event Center, 331 S. 41st Ave., West Richland.

Candles will be lit for one hour to honor and remember all children, siblings and grandchildren who have died.

Participants are asked to bring a standing framed photo of their child or a small memento. Candles will be lit from 7-8 p.m.
