Six prison employees at Walla Walla State Penitentiary received disciplinary action in connection with the escape of seven convicts last month. The warden said the men had signed special check forms certifying that the cell where the escape tunnel was secure. They said they had checked the cell but not carefully enough to discover the concealed opening.
