Reading challenge under way at libraries

BY THE TRI-CITY HERALDDecember 8, 2012

Readers of all ages are eligible to win prizes as part of the Mid-Columbia Libraries' Winter Reading Challenge.

The contest began Dec. 1 and runs through Jan. 31. Two readers will win trips to Great Wolf Lodge and Water Park in Grand Mound, Wash., and the top 100 readers will be entered to win an iPad Mini.

The contest was developed to help students maintain their reading skills during the winter holiday break from school but also to bring families together, according to a release from the library district.
