The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Risk Management Agency is reminding producers the winter and spring sales closing dates for Multiple Peril Crop Insurance programs are approaching.
Jan. 31 is the final day for some counties in Washington, Oregon and Idaho to buy or change Adjusted Gross Revenue Pilot insurance.
Feb. 1 is the last day to buy or change crop insurance coverage for 2013 spring-planted onions in Washington, Oregon and Idaho and cabbage in Washington and Oregon.
March 15 is the last day to buy or change all other Spring Seeded Multiple Peril Crop Insurance -- except for wheat in counties with fall and spring planted wheat -- and it is the last date to buy 2013 Adjusted Gross Revenue-Lite insurance for new applications and enrollment processes in Washington, Oregon and Idaho.
