Boys basketball roundup: Pasco falls in overtime to Clarkston

Efrain Cardoza and Julian Figueroa scored a combined 50 points to lead Pasco, but it wasn’t enough as the Bulldogs lost 75-68 in overtime to Clarkston on Friday in the first round of the Pendleton Red Lion Tournament.

Cardoza scored 28 points and Figueroa added 22 points, as they combined to shoot 15-of-19 from the 3-point line.

“They lit it up,” Bulldogs coach Charlie Villanueva said.

Richland 79, Post Falls (IDAHO) 60: Jacob DeVries was 3-for-3 from behind the arc in the first quarter, helping the Bombers get off to a fast start in a nonleague home victory.

DeVries finished with 11 points and four assists. Payton Radliff added 21 points, six steals and five assists for Richland.

Kamiakin 46, Hermiston 41: Kylle Robertson scored 14 points, and Javan Williams had 12 points and nine rebounds to lead the Braves to a road victory over the Bulldogs.

Hermiston cut into Kamiakin’s lead with an 18-point fourth quarter, but the Braves counteracted on the other end.

“The kids did a good job of finishing the game,” Kamiakin coach Brian Meneely said.
