Kennewick police have bragging rights for the next year after defeating Kennewick firefighters in the annual holiday charity basketball game.
The big winners are the less fortunate children and families in the community, officials said.
The annual basketball matchup raised $10,700 to sponsor families this Christmas.
"Once again, the true spirit of the Christmas holiday comes to light due to the men and women of the Kennewick police and Kennewick fire departments," said Kennewick Police Chief Ken Hohenberg.
