Local author Dave Carl will sign copies of his children's book Super Cyclist from 4 to 7 p.m. Dec. 14 at Hastings, 1425 George Washington Way, Richland.

Super Cyclist follows the adventures of a superhero who uses a special handcycle to fight crime despite being confined to a wheelchair.
