Holiday events on tap Dec. 7-8 in Richland

The city of Richland celebrates the holidays Dec. 7-8 with several events to please the whole family.

There will be a model railroad display from 6:30 to 10 p.m. Dec. 7 and from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Dec. 8 in the game room at the Richland Community Center, 500 Amon Drive. A Tuba Christmas concert is from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Dec. 8 in the Riverview Room at the community center. And before the Lighted Boat Parade arrives at Howard Amon Park kids will get to visit with Santa at the park's south shelter area.

All events are free.
