Four suspects were arrested late Tuesday after an alert neighbor saw them go into a vacant home and called Kennewick police.

When officers arrived at 4815 W. Clearwater Ave., they searched the home and an outbuilding and found the suspects, said Sgt. Ken Lattin.

Officers said they believed the suspects had been using illegal drugs and tried to hide in the outbuilding, he said.

Angel Lucero, 18, was booked into the Benton County jail on suspicion of possessing more than 40 grams of marijuana, possessing drug paraphernalia, first-degree criminal trespassing and an outstanding warrant.

Giovani Eufracio, 19, also was jailed for suspicion of first-degree criminal trespassing, possessing drug paraphernalia and a warrant.

Two girls, ages 16 and 17, also were arrested and taken to juvenile detention on suspicion of first-degree criminal trespassing and possessing drug paraphernalia.

All four suspects are from Kennewick.
