Thank you, Salvation Army, for all you do for our community. Thank you, Tri-City Herald, for featuring the Salvation Army Thanksgiving Dinner on Friday and the Red Kettle Bell Ringing on Saturday. Thank you to all of the volunteers who make these events possible.

I encourage all of you who are able to donate to the red kettles during this holiday season. The Salvation Army is a well-run organization, with the vast majority of your donations going back into the community to support the needy. It relies heavily on your generosity during this time of the year.
