Up and comers

December 6, 2012

EILEEN CRAWFORD, Pasco

I recently was honored to serve as a first-time company adviser at the Pasco School District's Enterprise 2012 program for its combined senior classes.

It was a terrific experience for myself and the professional students. The district staff was extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. The students were professional, polite, hardworking, creative and a real inspiration.

The companies they ran, the products they designed, priced and marketed, reflected a great deal of thought, imagination and fulfilled a need in our society. I would have purchased many of them had they been available today.

I want to thank the staff, students and volunteers for a very uplifting and fulfilling week of learning and activity. Enterprise week is fantastic. I hope this program continues for many years to come.

If you have the opportunity, please volunteer for this inspiring week. You too will develop a greater respect for our up and coming leaders!
