All-Southeast 2B football team named

December 5, 2012 

All-state quarterback Jeremiah Cox and running back Luke Fazzari highlighted an all-Southeast 2B team with seven DeSales players.

Also making the all-league team for the Irish were wide receivers Joe Duehn and Ryan Baumgart, offensive lineman Tim Caudill, defensive back Kyler Pommerening and defensive lineman Cody Josifek.

DeSales’ Mike Spiess was named coach of the year after leading the Irish to the Class 2B state quarterfinals.

Waitsburg-Prescott’s Dalton Estes, an all-state selection, was named to the all-league team as an all-purpose player. He was joined on the all-Southeast 2B squad by W-P teammates Chance Leroue (tight end), Ben Shafer (offensive lineman), Roy Ebong (defensive back) and Danny Stansell (linebacker).

Tri-Cities Prep was represented by running back Bailey Rivas and linebacker Briar Westerfield.
