PASCO, Wash. — Washington State Supreme Court Justice Steven Gonzalez will visit Pasco and Chiawana high schools Friday to talk about his early life, how he attended law school and the opportunities his education provided him.
Gonzalez, who joined the court in January after being appointed, was re-elected to after running unopposed in the general election this year.
The justice will address students during an assembly at Pasco High at 9:57 a.m. He will then visit with students in a civics class at Chiawana High at 1:45 p.m.
This will be Gonzalez's third trip to the Tri-Cities this year.
In April, he visited with youth and the community at Collegium Cafe in Pasco. He was at the 10th annual Youth and Justice Forum at CBC in October.
