Columbia Basin College will have a public grand opening at 10 a.m. Wednesday for its new planetarium.
The $1.3 million project was paid for by the CBC Foundation, Bechtel National and the Community Enrichment Foundation.
Astronauts Charlie Duke and Story Musgrave will be on hand, and a film festival will take place in the facility from 12:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
