2000: Kennewick's Autumn Fielding had 19 points and four steals while putting the defensive wraps on University of Washington-bound Kristen O'Neill (11 points, 4-for-11 shooting) as the defending Class 4A state champion Lions routed defending 3A champion Meadowdale 57-27. The win came a day after Kennewick downed Prairie 67-46 in a rematch of the 1999 title game. Emily Faurholt also scored 19 points for the powerhouse Lions.

1972: Othello's 108-pounder Steve Niblette pinned his Royal City opponent in 1:02, and teammates Kevin Beus, Robert Gilber and Mike Padilla also added pins as the Huskies earned a 51-6 victory over the visiting Knights.
