The National Weather Service in Pendleton is forecasting a windy, rainy weekend for the Tri-Cities.
A 40 percent chance of rain is forecast today with a southwest wind expected to blow at 11 to 18 mph and gust up to 29 mph.
Tonight, a much stronger and wetter Pacific storm will move into the region, bringing an 80 percent chance of rain.
The chance of showers Sunday is 80 percent in the morning and winds of 21 to 26 mph are expected with gusts as high as 41 mph.
