CBC women top Linn-Benton 76-39

CBC 76, Linn-Benton 39: Kelsey Yenney and Kara Wenstrom combined to hit six 3-pointers and scored 15 points apiece off the bench to lift the Columbia Basin College Hawks to a win over the Roadrunners at the Warrior Classic at Walla Walla Community College on Friday.

CBC took control early in the game with a strong defensive effort, taking a 36-16 halftime lead. The Hawks held Linn-Benton to just 26.3 percent (15-for-57) shooting and outrebounded the Roadrunners 53-32.

"Our teamwork was a lot better," CBC assistant coach Daron Santo said.
