Red Cross to create 'Holiday Mail for Heroes'

The Benton-Franklin Chapter of the American Red Cross is holding two free "Holiday Mail for Heroes" holiday card-making events.

They are scheduled for 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, and 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the chapter offices, 7202 W. Deschutes Ave., Kennewick. Materials and refreshments will be provided.

Cards also can be sent to the Holiday Mail for Heroes, P.O. Box 5456, Capital Heights, Md. 20791-5456 by Dec. 7. They will be distributed to military personnel across the world.
