Ellensburg — A driver from Kent faces a citation from the Washington State Patrol after reportedly rear-ending a Pasco driver Wednesday on Interstate 82, about 22 miles east of Ellensburg.
Robert P. Kruzich, 43, of Kent, was driving a 2012 Freightliner Truck west on the highway when he reportedly rear-ended a 1990 International truck pulling a 1972 flatbed trailer driven by Terry R. Hayles, 52, of Pasco.
Hayles was taken to Kittitas Valley Community Hospital with unknown injuries.
The accident happened about 1 p.m.
Driver inattention caused the crash and charges against Kruzich may be pending, WSP reported.
