PROSSER -- The installation of six new directional signs along Wine Country Road from Interstate 82's exit 80 to exit 82 in Prosser aim to provide tourists and visitors with a guide to finding destinations in the small Lower Valley city.
Installation of the $20,000 project is scheduled to begin today and continue through Thursday. The signs feature a cohesive theme, refreshed logo and updated colors, according to a news release from the Prosser Economic Development Association.
Aaron O'Brien of Chinook Signs assisted in design and construction.
Funding for the project was made possible by the efforts of public in-kind support and private donations.
