It is no wonder our political parties are in such a mess. One recent letter to the editor was from a voter who marks her ballot depending on the letter behind the candidate's name.
So, she has made the decision to vote for a less-qualified person for a state office because of the letter behind his name. This decision came about because of comments made by candidates outside of our state that she attributes to the local candidate. It makes me wonder how many candidates she did not vote for in our state because of President Clinton's action with an intern and Vice President Biden's foot-in-mouth disease, or the others across country of the Democratic Party who make crazy comments?
