SCOTT and CAROL PAYNE, Richland

The Payne family is thankful for a wonderful woman named J.J. from the Hills West neighborhood and to Meadow Hills Veterinary Center and PetLink for reuniting us with our 1-year-old schnauzer, Gracie, who escaped our fenced yard last week.

Apparently J.J. found Gracie near Badger Mountain School amid busy school traffic. After spending some time canvassing the neighborhood, J.J. ended up taking Gracie to Meadow Hills in hopes that she was microchipped. We're thankful Gracie was microchipped, which resulted in an email from PetLink, saying she was found, and a call from Meadow Hills Veterinary, saying they had Gracie safe and sound waiting for us to pick her up.

Please microchip your pet -- it really works. Thank you again to J.J. of Hills West, Meadow Hills Veterinary and PetLink for reuniting us with our beloved Gracie.
