Salvation Army tree begins Saturday at Kennewick's Columbia Center mall

The Salvation Army's Angel Giving Tree is scheduled to go up Saturday near the food court at the Columbia Center mall in Kennewick.

Shoppers may buy toys for needy children through the long-running program. More than 1,500 kids received gifts through the program last year, according to a news release.
