A Kennewick firefighter checks inside an overturned 2001 Pontiac Grand Am as other firefighters work on getting Forest Newsom, 70, out of his damaged 1997 Toyota Camry Monday morning at the intersection of West Fourth Avenue and South Olympia Street in Kennewick. The Grand Am driver, Leticia Orduno, 42, was not injured. Kenenwick Police officer Mike Gaines said Newsom had cuts to his head and was taken to a hospital for treatment. The cause of the early morning collision is still under investigation. Check this site and Tuesday's Tri-City Herald for updates. BOB BRAWDY — Tri-City HeraldBuy Photo
