As a loyal reader of your paper and a person who usually likes to stay in the shadows, I had to comment about the picture of the flag that was being flown upside down in the Nov. 14 edition.

I realize that people are disappointed about the outcome of the recent election, but do we have to keep dwelling on it? Can't we just agree to disagree and move on? Flying the flag upside down just seems so wrong to me and in the yard of someone who served in the military no less. I mean, really!
