Ruvim Tyutyunnik scored on a 1-yard plunge and Austin Weatherby by recovering a fumble in the end zone, and the River View defense dominated the Quincy Jackrabbits on Saturday in a 14-0 shutout at Lampson Stadium.
The victory sends the Panthers to the state semifinals for the first time in program history.
Alonso Mendoza ran for 97 of his 107 yards in the second half as River View overcame some first-half miscues with gritty play after the break. Meanwhile, the defense was rock solid throughout, allowing just 141 total yards.
