U.S. Cellular launches regional 4G LTE network

U.S. Cellular recently launched its 4G LTE network in the Tri-Cities.

The new network will allow customers with 4G LTE capable phones and tablets to work "10 times faster than with a 3G network," according to a news release from the company.

The Chicago-based company also announced its phones and plans will be available in select Walmart stores.

U.S. Cellular is at 2720 S. Quillan St., Kennewick; 4820 N. Road 68, Pasco; and 2801 Duportail St., Richland.
