PASCO, Wash. -- Educational Service District 123 in Pasco is offering a series of four-hour iPad workshops for educators.
The first workshop, called "Introduction to the iPad," runs from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Dec. 4. Participants will learn how to set up the iPad with the latest operating system.
The second workshop, "iPad in Special Education," runs from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Dec. 10. It deals with incorporating the technology into special education classrooms.
The third workshop, "iPad in the Classroom," is from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Dec 14. Participants will learn to engage students, about educational apps, iTunes U and other resources.
All workshops will be held at the district office, 3918 W. Court St., Pasco.
Registration is $130 for all three sessions or $90 for two sessions. The introduction and "in the classroom" workshops are $55 each. The special education session alone is $45. Prices go up after Friday.
