MARY SMITH, Benton City

I wanted to say how impressed I am with the members of Fire District No. 2 and their families. On Halloween night, as I drove down the main street of Benton City, each intersection on this route had a fire truck and/or ambulance sitting with staff members stopping traffic at the crosswalks.

This was done so our community's children could cross the street safely while trick-or-treating all of the businesses. I am always impressed how our community always comes together for the good of our children. Thank you to everyone who made a safe and memorable Halloween for all of the children.
