PASCO, Wash. — Opening Night for the Tri-City Dust Devils will be at Gesa Stadium in Pasco on June 14 vs. the Vancouver Canadians -- the defending Northwest League baseball champions.
The Dust Devils' regular-season finale will be Labor Day (Sept. 2), also vs. the Canadians. The first half of the regular season ends July 22.
In a news release, the Dust Devils said fans will notice changes in the schedule as a result of the Yakima franchise becoming the Hillsboro (Ore.) Hops.
The league will be realigned from East/West divisions to North/South divisions. The Dust Devils will be in the North Division along with Everett, Spokane and Vancouver.
The South Division will Boise, Eugene, Hillsboro and Salem-Keizer.
Also, the league will stage an all-star game for the first time since 2004. It will be held Aug. 6 in Everett.
A Gesa Stadium-record 10 post-game fireworks shows will be held in 2013. Fireworks will follow the season opener, the season finale, July 3 and every Saturday home game during the season.
Next year, the Dust Devils hope to set a single-season attendance record for the seventh consecutive season. A total of 86,095 fans visited Gesa Stadium in 2012, and a single-game record of 3,871 was set on the season finale.
Ticket plans start at just $49, with full-season tickets available for as low as $259. Season tickets, mini-plans, and group tickets can be purchased by contacting the Dust Devils front office at 509-544-8789 or at the Gesa Stadium box office.
